We have seen this set up in superhero films many times over the years, either in big-budget blockbusters or in television shows, but after seeing it in both formats for many years I have wanted to see something new with the material. I have been a big fan of these TV shows and movies but after watching the first three episodes of Amazon Prime's brand new animated series, Invincible, this is definitely a show you must watch.Īmazon Studios have been releasing some fantastic content over the past few months, including Academy Award nominee Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm and the highly anticipated Coming 2 America. The Rudy and Amanda story probably won’t end the way you think it will.We are three months into 2021 and we have had an abundance of Comic-Book content already from WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier streaming on Disney+ to Zack Snyder's Justice League on Sky Cinema/HBO Max. Nonetheless, when Amanda was frightened, she reached out to hold Rudy’s hand. Even Monster Girl (Amanda) felt off about it and Rudy did it for her. Rex responded exactly like we assumed he would by being weirded out. Let’s not forget that Robot (now Rudy) dropped a bomb on everyone by showing up as young Rex. Then we have the new Guardians of the Globe. Cecil, Debbie, Atom Eve and Amber are only some of the people whose lives will undoubtedly change after this. But it won’t just be Mark who’ll have things to deal with. Everything from small moments like Debbie Grayson smiling to major ones like Omni-Man killing Immortal was leading us to a defining part of Mark’s life. This trust in the Invincible creative team is what leads this writer to believe that the series finale will blow our minds and get everyone excited for the future – especially after this really exciting news.Īmong the reasons to trust the process is that there were zero wasted moments. In that world-building for the show, things from the source material were changed – something that this writer has applauded all season. We’ve been given nothing but flawless storytelling and world-building.
